180 Sites       140 Mw Solar      580 Mwh BESS

As of August 2024, we and our technology partner, PEI have embarked on a strategic development initiative with landowners to develop 180 GridFree^TM DC fast-charging EV stations, integrating 140 MW of solar capacity and 580 MWh of battery energy storage (BESS). This forms a crucial part of our decarbonization strategy under the ‘We Charge USA’ program, which aims to deploy 1,000 microgrid-based EV charging stations across the nation by 2032.

Each station will serve as a premium en-route charging hub, equipped with 30 to 100 VoltEdge^TM DC fast chargers, offering 150 kW or more of charging power. Stations will be strategically located either along major freeways or within inner cities and metropolitan areas with populations exceeding 250,000. These are full-service ‘rest stations’ that provide a 30-minute lifestyle experience, featuring over 30 VoltEdge^TM fast chargers, convenience stores, quick-service dining options, corporate mobility and infotainment hubs, and digital advertising displays.
